Bostonians of all generations have gone in search of countless treasures along the retail mecca highway known as Route 9 in Natick and Framingham. This bustling thoroughfare, also known as Worcester Road in Framingham and Worcester Street in Natick, serves as a vital economic artery connecting Boston to Worcester.

Along an approximate nine-mile stretch of road from Newton and Wellesley to Natick and Framingham, drivers encounter a wide range of shopping, dining, and entertainment options, from local shops and national retail chains to shopping malls and movie theaters.

A section of that road, in either direction of the expansive Natick Mall, is so well known for its concentration of retail outlets that it was nicknamed the Golden Mile, and later renamed the Golden Triangle to encompass a wider geographic area.
